Architectural Coatings Tinter/Color Matcher
PPG, a global manufacturer of paints and stains, currently has an
opening for an Architectural Coatings Tinter/ Color Matcher at our
Brampton, Ontario Distribution Centre. As a member of the team you
would also be responsible for accepting phone orders, responding to
general and technical enquiries, order assembly, color matching,
tinting and prioritizing deliveries in an accurate and timely
manner. Spray booth experience, knowledge of spray equipment and
light industrial coatings would be an asset. Candidates must posses
at least a high school diploma, have a minimum of 3 years experience
in a fast paced retail, wholesale or industrial tinting/custom
colour matching environment and have the ability to manually lift
pails and cartons that weigh 40 to 60 lbs. Excellent interpersonal,
organizational and computer skills are a must. Knowledge of PPG
Architectural and Industrial products would be an asset, as would a
post secondary education in Paint Technology.
